↘ THE BRIEF

A city's water.
Disappearing.

Nagpur was once known for its lakes — over 100 of them, many more than a century old. Today, most are either encroached, contaminated, or forgotten entirely. Lokmat Times wanted a film that would investigate what happened to the city's water bodies and who is responsible for their decline.

Featuring Avani Arya as the on-screen guide, the documentary traces the history of Nagpur's lakes, interviews residents and officials, and documents the current state of these vital water sources. The goal was to create both awareness and accountability.
